so i have a chocolate craving ... what could be better than combining some of our favorate chocolates and in a cake.. 

it was friday again. time to make something for the family. the kids always have asked me to make them something special, and me of course after making orders and making them look pretty want to have my break as well so what they usually get looks just .. well ahhh....

so just to get over my guilty conscious i decided to make a kitkat cake and this is how it started:

shopping spree: i hit carrefour where i got : one box of kitkatbars, 2 big size packs of maltesers, milk and semisweet chocolate chips, and my favorate cocoa powder carrefour brand..

Caking spree: i backed two 9" black midnight cakes, which is a recipie i have been using since i was a kid simple and delecious chocolate cake not too heavey and not too light , and some chocolate frosting, on top of that i made a batch of chewy chocolate chip cookie batter, complements of the great martha stewart  and baked a huge 9" chewy goodness

assmbbly time:  time to put things together... one layer of midnight chocolate cake covered with frosting add the gigantic chocolate chip cookie cover it with frosting and add the second layer of cake, then we cover the entire thing with frosting, arrange the kitkats around the cake and tie it up with a riddon and drizzle with malteesers ...

the out come was sweet delecious cake to die for !!

it might give u a heart attack thats all im saying

so i have been lazy with the whole blog experiance. well its never too late to do something about it right?!

there is this whole hype about Macroons these day that i thought to myself, why shouldnt i make some. i mean they are simple .. basicly egg white, sugar and almond powder.. well i have made a small trial yesterday they came out nicly from the oven and im quit proud

next will be stuffing them..

so i have been asked to make a cake for a cute little girl turning 1 on frieday.. mom is very specific. she sent me a picture of a cake and wants the exact same thing....well as most of you know me... i tend to try to make something alittle diffirent and nicer mom wants a cake with a tiara on top but the tirara in the picture she sent me was ... well a little too dull for me. so im planning to actually make a nicer tiara and make her dull tiara and then give momey and option on which tiara she want... i bet she will go with my tiara.. now those decorations needs few days to dry so i will be starting on them right away..

along with that i will need to prepare for another cake dew on thursday for my sister.. thos should be easily done and shouldnt take time. well lets hope for the best 

I have been thinking about adding a blog to my site for a long time now. still not sure if its a good idea that i did so or not. but as always, I push myself to do things and i struggle to achieve but it ends well "most of the time".

So i will start on a light note here. will try to post daily and if i couldnt i will post at least once a week. that will be my commitment and as i go along i would like to know if anyone thinks its a good idea to talk about a specific topic..

The topics will vary from things i wish to do and learning to do to in the world of cake decorating.. or the latest of my creations. I will be adding some pictures on the blog for cakse that i have done for family "typically not the perfect shapes but sweet and delicious", i will share any new cake flavours im trying to achieve. which my family usually have to test befor i release to be sold.

My vision to make this website more interactive,for the website to be something people would want to come back to see everyonce in a while.
